Union Coop Opens New Branch with 75% Discount Promotion

Union Coop – the largest consumer cooperative in the UAE, has opened its new center consisting of its 25th hypermarket branch and 41 commercial stores in the Al Nahda-2 area, at a cost of AED 50,000,000, covering an area of ​​176,240 sq. ft. With the opening of the new center, the number of Union Coop hypermarkets in Dubai has now reached 25.

The latest center was inaugurated by the Chairman of Union Coop – H.E. Majid Hamad Rahma Al Shamsi with Eng. Abdulla Mohammad Rafie Al Dallal, Managing Director, Union Coop in the presence of Division and Department Directors, Managers and employees of Union Coop, along with several officials and suppliers, in addition to shoppers and consumers of all categories of the society.

Up to 75% Discount Offered

Union Coop also released an inaugural promotion with discounts of up to 75% on a large selection of food and non-food products to delight the consumers. This 5-day promotion started from March 2 until the 6 and will help reduce the burden on consumers who are looking for essential products of international quality at competitive prices.

Union Coop’s Managing Director confirmed that the opening of its latest branch at the beginning of 2023 comes as per strategic plans developed by the cooperative. Moreover, this affirms Union Coop’s commitment to establishing family-friendly shopping destinations in various regions of Dubai, indicating that the new commercial center was designed as per the latest international architectural standards, which will successfully meet the needs of shoppers from all social groups. This is also in line with the rapid development of the retail sector in the UAE.

Union Coop continues to create better investment opportunities and implement its strategies to achieve its vision, objectives and commitment, the last of which includes offering quality products to its consumers at competitive prices with multiple options and choices.

Regarding the details of the new center, Arch. MADIYA AL MARI, Investment Division Director, confirmed that the latest branch in Al Nahda- 2, is located directly on Amman Street. The construction cost amounted to AED 50,000,000 and it consists of a basement, ground and first floor, with the basement consisting of service rooms, chapels, ablutions and bathrooms, in addition to 60 parking spaces. Meanwhile, on the ground floor there are 53 parking spaces and 25 shops. The center has 2 entrances, one from the front that overlooks the main road and the other near a large parking lot. She further noted that the Union Coop hypermarket is 35,977 sq. ft. in size with 16 shops opposite to it.

Shops on the ground floor have been rented to businesses such as restaurant, cafes, salons, pharmacies, perfume shops .etc. attending to the requirements of the region. Similarly, there are shops on the first floor near the showroom as well.
