Bhagtah Reddy Founder & CEO said that “When I arrived in Grasse, I uncovered a rich history and, in turn, the modern methodologies of fragrance formulation and botanical extraction. The fragrance industry had evolved significantly since the mid-20th century, moving away from traditional copper stills and embracing scientific advancements to handle delicate, rare and expensive botanicals. During an early meeting at the University of Nice, I was introduced to cutting-edge technologies such as ultrasonic maceration, vacuum distillation, and CO₂ critical extraction. These methods enable more precise extraction, leading to superior quality. It was then that I realized I had inadvertently stumbled upon a golden opportunity. By applying this science, we could craft distinctive, high-quality spirits that occupy an ultra-premium category of their own—science as a disruptor of tradition.”
