Aurea Lights Couture Path

Silhouettes are crafted with architectural precision, drawing on sacred geometries while balancing structure and fluidity

The House of Nivedita has unveiled its latest collection, Aurea, a striking exploration of light as both a universal force and a deeply personal experience. Rooted in the idea of unseen energies that connect individuals, the collection translates the concept of auras into a refined visual language of design, emotion, and craftsmanship.

At the centre of the showcase is Harshvardhan Rane, who serves as both muse and showstopper. Known for his understated intensity, Rane reflects the essence of Aurea—where strength meets sensitivity and elegance is expressed through restraint. His presence reinforces the idea of the modern muse: grounded, self-assured, and quietly powerful.

Founder and Creative Director Nivedita continues her signature approach of merging traditional artistry with contemporary design. With Aurea, she pushes beyond conventional couture, presenting garments that feel as much philosophical as they are aesthetic. The collection moves fluidly through a spectrum of colours inspired by human auras—from cool crystalline sages and frosty blues to warm earthen browns, fiery reds, and molten metallics, before settling into twilight hues of sapphire, mauve, and stone.

Silhouettes are crafted with architectural precision, drawing on sacred geometries while balancing structure and fluidity. Lightweight chiffons, organzas, silk satins, and structured fabrics interact seamlessly, enhanced by intricate embroidery, precision quilting, laser-cut detailing, and custom digital prints. Each piece emerges as both garment and artwork.

Speaking about the vision, Nivedita describes Aurea as an exploration of inner and outer light—an attempt to create designs that resonate beyond appearance. This philosophy positions the collection as more than fashion; it becomes an expression of identity, unity, and individuality.

With Aurea, the House of Nivedita strengthens its global presence, showcasing how Indian couture continues to evolve. By blending heritage craftsmanship with modern storytelling, the label reaffirms its role in shaping a future where fashion is not only worn, but deeply felt.
