The makers of Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, have unveiled the trailer of the much-awaited action thriller, promising a high-octane ride filled with intense combat sequences, explosive stunts and powerful performances.
The over two-minute trailer opens with Alia Bhatt introducing her character Sita with the line, “Sita aaj Lanka khud jalane aayi hai”, hinting at her fierce and determined role in the film. Another dialogue, “Shuru karo agnee pariksha”, sets the tone for the intense battle that follows.
The trailer showcases Alia taking on dangerous challenges, with glimpses of her face-off against Bobby Deol, who plays a ruthless mentor. Packed with hand-to-hand combat, gun fights and dramatic action sequences, the preview establishes the film as a major action entertainer.
The background score featuring the track Jamaican (Bam Bam) by Hugel and SOLTO (FR) adds to the energy of the trailer, while glimpses of Anil Kapoor and Sharvari further build anticipation.
However, the biggest surprise arrives at the end when Hrithik Roshan appears as Agent Kabir, instantly elevating the excitement around the film. His brief appearance has added another layer of anticipation, especially among fans of the YRF Spy Universe.
Sharvari’s character has been kept largely under wraps in the trailer, but the visuals suggest that her role is crucial to the story. The trailer hints at her joining forces with Alia’s character to take on Bobby Deol’s powerful antagonist.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 3. The teaser of the film was released on June 10, with Yash Raj Films describing it as “The first. The fastest. The bravest.”
The film marks another major project for Alia Bhatt, who has established herself as one of Bollywood’s leading performers with films including Raazi, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Highway, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Dear Zindagi.
According to sources close to the production, Alia’s character in Alpha will be different from traditional heroes introduced in the YRF Spy Universe. She reportedly plays an assassin who has been trained to kill, bringing a darker and more intense dimension to the franchise.
The source added that the character was designed as someone who is not defined by conventional ideas of heroism but follows her own path.
With its action-heavy trailer, star-studded cast and Hrithik Roshan’s special appearance, Alpha has already generated strong buzz ahead of its release.
