The Global Achievers Business Awards 2026 emerged as a landmark international celebration of leadership, innovation and enterprise, bringing together influential figures from business, policy and the diaspora in one of Britain’s most prestigious venues. Hosted in the Members’ Dining Room at the House of Commons in London on Thursday, February 5, the ceremony underscored the growing global influence of Indian-origin businesses and entrepreneurs, particularly those connected to Karnataka.
The awards recognised outstanding individuals and organisations of Indian origin whose work has delivered measurable impact, strategic vision and international reach across sectors. With a special focus on Karnataka, the event highlighted the state’s reputation as one of India’s most progressive economic hubs, known for its globally recognised IT industry, vibrant startup ecosystem, innovation-driven growth and world-class talent pool.
Jointly organised by UK-based Luminary Networks Ltd and India-headquartered Mind Blue LLP, a leading full-spectrum media strategy and buying agency based in Bengaluru, the event symbolised collaboration between the United Kingdom and India. The partnership brought together expertise and leadership from both countries, reflecting the increasingly interconnected nature of global business.

More than 100 distinguished guests attended the ceremony, including senior entrepreneurs, policymakers, community leaders and award recipients who travelled from Karnataka for the occasion. The evening served not only as a platform to recognise excellence but also as an opportunity to strengthen cross-border dialogue and collaboration between India and the UK.
Addressing the gathering, Labour MP Barry Gardiner highlighted the broader significance of the event. He said the Global Achievers Business Awards 2026 showcased the immense contribution of the Indian diaspora to the UK economy and society, adding that celebrating leadership and innovation within the House of Commons sent a powerful message about the value of international cooperation and shared progress.

He noted that hosting the ceremony at the House of Commons allowed organisers to spotlight the global contribution of Indian and Karnataka-origin businesses while fostering meaningful engagement between business leaders, policymakers and community representatives.
Yogesh HN, Director at Mind Blue LLP, emphasised Karnataka’s consistent role in producing globally respected entrepreneurs and innovators. He said the awards provided an important international platform to recognise this excellence while strengthening commercial and cultural ties between India and the UK. He added that Mind Blue, as a global advertising agency rooted in India, continues to help brands connect with international audiences by bridging Indian ideas with global impact.
Among the award recipients was Mr Ganapati Bhat, Chairman of KannadigaruUK, who received the Community Impact Award. Accepting the honour, he said the recognition was a proud moment for the Kannada-speaking community in the UK and a testament to the collective efforts of volunteers, members and partners. He reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to preserving and promoting the Kannada language, culture and heritage, while fostering unity, inclusivity and a strong sense of belonging within the diaspora. He also highlighted the group’s efforts to empower business and professional communities through collaboration and networking.
Another award recipient, Mr Vishwacariappa Bajanemane of SAN CITY, described being recognised at the House of Commons as a profound honour. He said the awards represented not only individual achievement but also the collective global impact of the Karnataka and Indian diaspora, adding that his organisation was focused on building trust, growth and long-term prosperity.
Mr Mohan Ramappa of Urbanest Realty, also among the winners, said the recognition reinforced the importance of cross-border collaboration and the growing role Indian enterprises continue to play on the global stage. He reiterated Urbanest Realty’s commitment to delivering premium homes while upholding quality and trust.
CEO Mr Ranganath Shenoy of Giniminds, which was recognised in the field of enterprise voice AI and digital human platforms, said the awards celebrated innovation and leadership in a truly international setting. He noted that the recognition was particularly meaningful in an era defined by rapid advancements in artificial intelligence.
