Bhanushali Studios Limited, led by Vinod Bhanushali, is set to creatively collaborate with acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker Michael Bay for an upcoming film, marking a significant cross-industry partnership. Known globally for helming blockbuster franchises such as Bad Boys, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, and Transformers, Bay’s association brings international scale and action-driven storytelling to the project.
The announcement was made by Bhanushali Studios through its official X handle, confirming that the film will be directed by Anthony D’Souza, a filmmaker recognised for mounting large-scale entertainers such as Boss, Blue, and Azhar. Adding further gravitas to the project, A R Rahman has come on board as the film’s music composer.
Sharing the update, the studio stated, “Bhanushali Studios Limited, led by Vinod Bhanushali, is all set to creatively collaborate with Hollywood’s visionary storyteller, Michael Bay, who has given us high-grossing films like Bad Boys, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Transformers franchise, A Quiet Place franchise, and so much more.”
The post further added that the project promises to be “adrenaline-charged,” combining Bay’s signature high-octane cinematic sensibility with Indian storytelling. “This adrenaline-charged project will be directed by Anthony D’Souza… Adding to the team is none other than India’s musical maestro A R Rahman, who has taken Indian stories and music to the global platform,” the statement read.
While the collaboration has generated strong excitement, the makers have not yet revealed details regarding the film’s release date or lead cast.
