Rather than treating casual, festive and occasion wear as separate categories, Skylee focuses on designing collections that serve the modern woman’s complete wardrobe. Its product philosophy centres on five key principles: elegant design, lasting comfort, versatility, repeat wearability and timeless styling
As the lifestyle of Indian women evolves, so do their wardrobe needs. Ethnic wear is no longer reserved for weddings and festivals alone. Today’s consumers seek versatile outfits that transition effortlessly from office meetings and travel to family gatherings, festive celebrations and everyday life, without compromising on comfort or style.

Recognising this shift, Surat-based fashion brand Skylee has built its identity around creating ethnic wear that blends elegance, practicality and timeless appeal. Founded in 2024 by entrepreneur Hiren Lathiya, the brand was born from more than a decade of experience in India’s ethnic fashion industry, where he observed a growing demand for clothing that could seamlessly fit multiple occasions.
“Women were no longer building wardrobes around isolated occasions,” says Lathiya. “They wanted clothing that could move naturally from everyday life to festive celebrations while maintaining the same sense of elegance, comfort and confidence.”
Rather than treating casual, festive and occasion wear as separate categories, Skylee focuses on designing collections that serve the modern woman’s complete wardrobe. Its product philosophy centres on five key principles: elegant design, lasting comfort, versatility, repeat wearability and timeless styling.
Every garment undergoes an extensive development process, from concept creation and fabric selection to sampling, fit refinement, quality checks and finishing. Before reaching customers, outfits are assessed for comfort, silhouette, ease of movement, drape, colour harmony and overall craftsmanship to ensure they remain wardrobe favourites for years.

Operating from Surat, India’s textile hub, gives the company direct access to innovative fabrics, skilled manufacturers and a strong supplier network. This enables faster product development, tighter quality control and greater consistency across collections.
Since its launch, Skylee has expanded rapidly, operating with more than 300 machines across multiple manufacturing facilities and serving over 100,000 customers. More than 500 professionals contribute across design, sourcing, production, logistics, technology and customer support.
The company also places strong emphasis on customer trust through secure payment options, cash on delivery, easy returns and dedicated support. Feedback on sizing, fit, styling preferences and product performance is continuously analysed to refine future collections.
Looking ahead, Skylee aims to continue creating ethnic wear that balances premium quality, versatility and enduring style, reflecting the changing lifestyles of Indian women while making elegance an everyday experience.
